Truro City Football Club begins its first season in the National League as Cornwall's inaugural professional team. The club was promoted last April after a four-year absence from the county, during which they awaited the construction of a new ground. Prince William, the Duke of Cornwall, sent a letter through his private secretary to extend his congratulations and well wishes to the team, acknowledging the significance of their promotion and expressing support from Cornwall.
Prince William has expressed his pride and best wishes for Truro City Football Club as they embark on their inaugural season in the National League.
Truro City is now the first professional football team from Cornwall, achieving this status after being promoted last April.
