Training Report: Bayern Munich's Alphonso Davies completes part of team training; Jamal Musiala, Hiroki Ito work with ball
"Monday saw a long wait come to an end for Alphonso Davies as the full-back trained with his teammates for the first time since suffering his cruciate ligament injury in March. The Canada international spent around 30 minutes out on the pitch, taking part in some of the drills. Although not every teammate was there to welcome him back, given they were away for international duty, the 25-year-old was still clearly very happy about this big step forward in his recovery."
"In addition, Jamal Musiala and Hiroki Itō both worked out with a ball: The good news continued with Jamal Musiala and Hiroki Ito also both making progress towards their respective returns. Musiala has been working on the pitch for the last three weeks following his broken leg and ankle at the Club World Cup last summer and has now started to introduce his favourite object into training again as he completed exercises with the ball on Monday."
"Vincent Kompany, the non-international players and the youth players welcomed Alphonso Davies back in team training today. Davies was involved for 30 minutes and then worked individually for another 30 minutes. Comeback expected before the end of the year. Jamal Musiala continued his rehab training on the pitch today - running and passing drills for about 45 minutes. Comeback expected in January"
