Chris Sutton beat the joint challenge of AI and the Football Manager 26 computer game to win the predictions contest last week; it was his first victory since early September. He faces AI again this week plus human guest Ollie Lawrence, a Bath and England rugby player who supports Chelsea. The most popular scoreline selected for each game is used in the scoreboards and tables. A correct result is worth 10 points and an exact score is worth 40 points. Lawrence played football and cricket as a boy with Aston Villa and Birmingham City academies before focusing on rugby at 16. Sutton regularly plays cricket for Norwich cricket club and says his rugby career ended after a 72-0 school defeat. Tactical crossover between rugby and football is noted, including coaches watching from the stands as Luis Enrique recently did.
