Tottenham have signed Julie Blakstad after her contract with Swedish club Hammarby came to an end. The 24-year-old Norway international previously played for Manchester City in the Women's Super League between January 2022 and March 2023. Spurs head coach Martin Ho praised her as a modern, dynamic full-back with an attacking edge and said the signing had been a clear priority for the club. Blakstad scored eight goals and provided eight assists in 26 appearances for Hammarby. She has earned 31 caps for Norway, scoring three goals. The length of her Tottenham deal has not been revealed.
