Solihull sack boss Taylor after winless start
"Solihull Moors have sacked boss Matt Taylor after a winless start to the National League season. Moors, losing play-off finalists in two of the past four seasons, are bottom of England's fifth tier, having lost four and drawn three of their opening seven games. Taylor oversaw just four wins in his 26 games in charge of Solihull after he was brought in to replace Andy Whing, who left to take the helm at Barrow in January."
"The 43-year-old, who previously managed Walsall, Shrewsbury Town and Tottenham's Under-18 side, had swapped Wealdstone for the job at Solihull. Terry Connor and Elliot Minto, coaches who worked under Taylor - who played in the Premier League for Portsmouth, Bolton Wanderers, West Ham and Burnley - have also left the club. Former Northern Ireland international and Solihull coach James Quinn has returned to the club as caretaker boss as the Moors' hierarchy search for a permanent replacement."
