Armagh GAA warned that a counterfeit Sam Maguire trophy is being circulated at pubs, schools, and event venues, soliciting money in exchange for appearances.
The board issued a clear message that they have established guidelines for appearances of the Sam Maguire, stating they will never charge for its use.
Fake trophies aren't new; the GAA has faced similar issues previously, including the destruction of a replica in 2019 that was used under false pretenses.
