Report: Bayern Munich is not fully convinced of talented youngster Adin Licina
"Adin Ličina was one of the five youngsters that Vincent Kompany brought to the first team's 2024 pre-season in Seoul. There, the left footed right sided winger/attacking midfielder impressed with his trickery and technical quality. Looking to take that momentum into the 2024-25 season, he unfortunately suffered multiple injuries that severely hampered his progress and he made few appearances."
"His 2025-26 season has been much less injury plagues so far (jinx protector), but it has not been quite as good as he and Bayern may have hoped. He remains incredibly tricky and capable of highlight reel dribbles, but his physique has been lacking. For every dribble that sees him evade up to 4 opponents at once, the youngster is overpowered and dispossessed about three times."
"The contract of Adin Ličin at Bayern is running out [in 2026]. After multiple injuries in the last year he is finally playing regularly again. But his biggest weaknesses are still intensity and physique."
Adin Ličina joined Bayern's first-team pre-season under Vincent Kompany in 2024 and showcased notable trickery and technical ability. He suffered multiple injuries during 2024–25 that severely limited his appearances. The 2025–26 season has had fewer injuries, but he has not consistently matched earlier promise. He retains exceptional dribbling and creativity yet lacks physical strength and consistent intensity. Frequent dribble successes are offset by being overpowered and dispossessed multiple times. His contract runs until 2026, and competition from Lennart Karl has diminished his pathway to the first team. Separation from Bayern is likely but not certain.
