Pressure on for Man City & PSG - could Champions League exit happen?
Briefly

The new format of the Champions League has introduced heightened stakes, leading to the unexpected possibility that top clubs like Manchester City and Paris St-Germain might fail to progress beyond the league phase. As City currently stands 24th and PSG 26th in the standings, a loss or draw in their upcoming crucial match could result in play-off matches for advancement. City has experienced a poor run under Pep Guardiola, winning only five of 17 matches, while PSG has been inconsistent in Europe despite leading in French competitions.
PSG are yet to lose in the French top flight but have failed to replicate that form in Europe - earning a measly seven points from six matches with three losses, one draw and two wins.
City took seven points from their opening three games, but then suffered losses to Sporting and Juventus and squandered a three-goal lead against Feyenoord to draw 3-3 at Etihad Stadium.
Guardiola remarked, 'Of course it is a really important game for us and for PSG, but we still have another game against Bruges at home.'
City may miss out on a place in the knockouts and if they don't qualify, Guardiola accepted, 'we have to accept we were not good enough.'
