My commitment is here - Larsen follows Pereira in penning new Wolves contract - Soccer News
"I've been incredibly happy here at Wolves. Signing a new deal shows that my commitment is here, I'm happy here, I love all my friends and team-mates, the fans are amazing, and we just want to make it a better season than last year."
"I've signed a new deal, more years at Wolves, which is perfect for me - the club's happy, I'm happy myself, so I'm ready to get back on the pitch now."
"The most important thing for me is to come back to the pitch and for us to start winning and get out of the bad start we had."
Jorgen Strand Larsen signed a new contract with Wolves running to 2030, following head coach Vitor Pereira and remaining despite transfer interest from Newcastle United. Newcastle submitted two bids, the second reported at about £55m, which were rejected. Strand Larsen joined Wolves permanently at the end of last season after a loan from Celta Vigo, scoring 14 Premier League goals in 2024-25. Wolves gave Pereira a new three-year deal despite an unprecedented four-game league losing start. Strand Larsen missed the last two matches with an Achilles issue and said his priority is returning to play and helping the team improve results. The contract reportedly lacks a release clause and includes a one-year club option.
