The Scottish FA's review panel highlighted that the only VAR mistake during the recent Premiership fixtures was the failure to award a penalty to Rangers against St Johnstone, despite visible infringement.
The panel indicated a penalty was warranted as St Johnstone defender Aaron Essel's "prolonged shirt pull" clearly impeded Rangers striker Cyriel Dessers' run towards the ball, which the referee overlooked.
Regarding Ianis Hagi's foul, the review panel concluded that VAR correctly upgraded his yellow card to a red due to the severity of his challenge on Adama Sidibeh.
In Celtic's match against Ross County, the review panel confirmed the correctness of two VAR interventions, agreeing the arm position of Liam Scales warranted a penalty and supporting the retake decision.
