Lionel Messi trained with Inter Miami after featuring for Argentina and will be available for the final 2025 MLS regular-season match against Nashville SC. Head coach Javier Mascherano reported Messi and Rodrigo De Paul participated in training and benefitted from limited travel and rest between fixtures. Mascherano confirmed almost everyone is available aside from injured David Ruiz and Allen Obando. Messi leads the Golden Boot race with 26 goals and also leads assists with 18, boosting his MVP prospects. A Golden Boot win could secure home-field advantage for Inter Miami in the playoffs.
