Klara Bühl was rested and replaced by Edna Imade, who favored central, box-oriented goal threats while Jovana Damnjanović drifted in from the left to exploit scoring positions. Damnjanović converted twice, with the goalkeeper Jasmin Janning making eight saves, five from inside the box, but being beaten by sharp finishing.
