Liam Delap suffered a hamstring injury 15 minutes into Chelsea’s 2-0 win over Fulham and could be sidelined for six to eight weeks. Nicolas Jackson travelled to Germany to finalise a loan move to Bayern Munich, while Christopher Nkunku completed a transfer to AC Milan. Joao Pedro could be the only available senior striker for Chelsea in the near term. Manager Enzo Maresca confirmed the hamstring occurred at full speed and cautioned such injuries typically require weeks of recovery. Maresca said the club will assess whether to pursue attacking reinforcements before the transfer deadline.
