Parish reversed his decision at the last minute because Glasner said he would walk out. Guehi was left bitterly disappointed; Palace had signed off a leaked farewell video ending 'Thank you Skip' and a private jet was booked to take him to Merseyside. There is no suggestion he will not play for Palace again, though he is considering whether to remain captain. Liverpool could try again in January; Barcelona, Bayern Munich and Juventus have shown interest.
