Jack Wilshere, aged 33, has been confirmed as the new manager of League One side Luton Town. He started at Luton as a boy and later made almost 200 appearances for Arsenal before spells with West Ham, Bournemouth and AGF Aarhus. Wilshere described the appointment as a huge honour and a full-circle moment, recalling he was eight when he first came to Luton. Luton currently sit 11th in the third tier after consecutive relegations. Wilshere replaces Matt Bloomfield, will be assisted by Chris Powell, and pledges to put his own stamp on the team and make fans proud.
