London City sack Precheur despite being sixth in WSL - Soccer News
"London City Lionesses and Head Coach Jocelyn Prêcheur part ways. - London City Lionesses (@LC_Lionesses) December 21, 2025"
"Following careful consideration, the club believes that now is the right time to begin a new cycle and pursue a different strategic direction for the next phase of its development,"
"London City Lionesses sincerely thanks Jocelyn Precheur and his coaching staff for their professionalism, commitment, and significant contribution to the club's recent sporting success, and wishes them every success in their future careers."
London City Lionesses have sacked manager Jocelyn Precheur midway through their debut Women's Super League season. Precheur took charge in June 2024 on a three-year deal and led the club to the Women's Championship and promotion as the first independent club to reach the top flight. The team sits sixth with five wins and six defeats and remains 12 points clear of bottom-place Liverpool. The club said the decision was not linked to results and framed the change as the start of a new cycle and strategic direction. Precheur oversaw 40 games, winning 24, drawing 4 and losing 12, averaging 1.9 points per game and a 60% win rate.
