Liam Rosenior has verbally agreed a contract to become Chelsea's next manager and has indicated the move is imminent. Rosenior took over at Strasbourg in 2024 after managerial spells at Hull City and Derby County. He travelled to London this week to complete the transfer to BlueCo's sister club Chelsea and has now confirmed that an agreement has been reached. Rosenior said, "It looks like I'm going to be the next manager of that football club [Chelsea]." Sources report he arrived in London to finalise terms and he has been described by Wayne Rooney as "good as I've ever worked with."
