Mateta impressed for France in the autumn, debuting on October 10 and scoring on his first start against Iceland. Palace manager Oliver Glasner confirmed specialists recommended non-surgical treatment and the club will oversee his rehab and recovery timeline. Mateta has 23 appearances and eight goals this Premier League season.
