Harry Kane will miss England's friendly against Wales after picking up a knock in Bayern Munich's 3-0 win over Eintracht Frankfurt. Ollie Watkins is set to lead the line in Kane's absence. Kane has scored 11 goals in six Bundesliga matches this season and reached 100 goals for Bayern in 104 appearances, the fastest to that milestone in Europe's top five leagues. The 31-year-old is expected to be available for the World Cup qualifier against Latvia. Since the start of 2025 only Kylian Mbappé has scored more goals in Europe's top five leagues. Kane finished 13th in the recent Ballon d'Or rankings.
