Tottenham defeated Aston Villa 7-3 at Villa Park in a ten-goal Women's Super League match, recording 27 shots with 12 on target. Signe Gaupset opened the scoring on 10 minutes before Villa briefly equalised; Tottenham led 3-1 at half-time after two quick goals. Oriane Jean-Francois pulled a goal back in the 68th minute, but Tottenham responded 12 seconds later and added three more goals through Cathinka Tandberg, Maika Hamano, Kirsty Hanson, Tandberg again and Julie Blakstad. Villa have lost four straight league games. Manager Martin Ho said the team could have scored several more.
