Jorge Mas said Luis Suárez, 38, will decide whether to remain with Inter Miami after the season, and the club has left the door open. Suárez joined Inter Miami in December 2023, extended through the 2025 MLS season, and his current contract expires hours after the MLS Cup. Mas called Suárez a football legend and praised his season contributions. Suárez finished the 2025 regular season with 10 goals and 10 assists in 28 appearances and added one assist in four playoff matches. Any talks about staying would include head coach Javier Mascherano and Suárez himself.
