The FIFA Marta Award recognizes the best goal in women's football, closely resembling the FIFA Puskas Award, which was awarded to Alejandro Garnacho this year.
Marta's exceptional goal involved a neat touch, a clever stepover, and a powerful shot that pierced into the top corner from the edge of the box.
Despite being awarded for an impressive goal and having a remarkable record with 119 goals for Brazil, Marta retired from international football shortly after the event.
