Thomas Muller has transferred to the Vancouver Whitecaps after an illustrious 17 years with Bayern Munich. He is contracted until the end of the 2025 season with an option for 2026. With 755 appearances and 250 goals, he is one of the most successful players in the club's history. Muller won 33 major honours during his time with Bayern, including 13 Bundesliga titles as well as two Champions League crowns in 2012-13 and 2019-20.
Muller netted 250 goals for Bayern, a total only bettered by Gerd Muller (566 according to club sources) and Robert Lewandowski (344).
The former Germany international has also won more matches (362) than any other player in the Bundesliga's history, aiming to bring that winning mentality to the MLS.
"I'm looking forward to coming to Vancouver to help this team win a championship," said Muller. "I've heard great things about the city, but first and foremost, I'm coming to win."
