Gabriel Martinelli pushed injured Liverpool full-back Conor Bradley near the touchline after Bradley landed awkwardly and clutched his knee in stoppage time of a 0-0 match. Martinelli dropped the ball and shoved Bradley to try to get him off the playing surface, provoking a melee and yellow cards for Martinelli and Ibrahima Konate. Bradley received treatment, was stretchered off, and later left on crutches wearing a knee brace. Martinelli apologised on social media and said he had already spoken to Bradley. Gary Neville and Roy Keane criticised Martinelli, while Liverpool manager Arne Slot defended him and cited time-wasting concerns.
