Liam Manning, 40, has been appointed head coach of Huddersfield Town on a long-term contract, replacing Lee Grant three days after Grant's dismissal. Grant had been eight months into a three-year deal and left with the club sixth in the League One table. Manning previously managed Norwich, Bristol City, MK Dons, and Oxford, achieving play-off and promotion successes with Bristol City, MK Dons, and Oxford before short stints at Norwich.
