"It's a mix of other players. Thomas was always a loud leader, but we still have others like Josh (Kimmich), Manu (Neuer), myself, or even Serge (Gnabry) and a few others. When a player like Thomas leaves, a leader like him, it puts pressure on other players to step up and be a little louder in certain situations than in the past. That's why I think it's a bit more spread out across the team now."
"There are a few young players, Aleks Pavlović, Tom Bischof. Besides Manu, Jo Kimmich, who have been here longer. Michael Olise feels extremely comfortable in the group. It's just a good mix at the moment. The guys are very positive. I think they've been welcomed really well. I'd say it feels really good. Lucho and Nico are not having trouble adjusting. That's exactly what we expected. They're really positive guys off the pitch as well."
Thomas Müller’s departure left a leadership void at Bayern Munich that has been filled by multiple players sharing responsibilities. Captain Manuel Neuer and vice-captain Joshua Kimmich remain central leaders. Harry Kane and new signing Jonathan Tah, as team council members, have taken on greater leadership duties alongside senior players Leon Goretzka and Serge Gnabry. Kane described leadership as a mix of voices and said other players have stepped up to be louder in key moments, creating a strong team environment. Sporting director Christoph Freund noted that younger players and new signings like Nicolas Jackson and Luis Díaz integrated seamlessly and contribute positively off the pitch.
