He is not in the options - Nuno all but confirms West Ham exit for Ward-Prowse - Soccer News
"The situation with James is clear from some time ago. I think he is not in the options, and it's for us to find the best solutions for his future,"
"I believe so. Meanwhile, he is here, and he is one of us, and we are trying to prepare all of them."
"It is a tough situation that we are in. We are aware, but at the same time, I realise there are 17 games to go. A lot of football to be played,"
"What we have to do is focus on ourselves, on our day-to-day. Look for that win and that win we need. Don't be"
James Ward-Prowse is out of the manager's plans at West Ham and is likely to leave in the January transfer window. He joined West Ham from Southampton in 2023 for a reported £30m but has struggled for impact. Ward-Prowse spent the first half of 2024-25 on loan at Nottingham Forest before that loan was cut short. He has not played under Nuno Espirito Santo since the coach replaced Graham Potter. West Ham face QPR in the FA Cup third round while sitting seven points adrift of safety after 21 league games and facing a high relegation probability.
