Isobel Goodwin, a 22-year-old England Under-23 international, has signed a contract with London City Lionesses until summer 2028 after joining from Sheffield United in September 2024 for a record WSL2 fee rising to £150,000. She finished the previous season as WSL2 top scorer with 16 goals and was named the league's player of the season as London City earned promotion to the WSL for the first time. Goodwin has scored three goals in 10 league appearances this season, with London City currently sixth in the table. She expresses strong attachment to the club and values top-flight experience for her development.
