Gokhan Inler received an Arsenal offer during his first year at Udinese but the club refused to sell because he was part of their project. He remained at Udinese for four years and later played for Napoli. Transfer discussions were managed by his agent while he concentrated on playing. Inler later signed for Leicester City, where he made ten appearances across all competitions yet was a member of the squad that won the 2015–16 Premier League. He possessed attributes suited to the Premier League and is currently the sporting director at Udinese.
