Fantasy Premier League is introducing an assistant manager chip in January, allowing managers to score points based on the performance of Premier League teams over three gameweeks.
This new chip, previously dubbed the mystery chip, rewards Fantasy managers with points for wins, draws, goals, and clean sheets, enhancing strategic gameplay.
Players can earn six points for each win, three for a draw, two for a clean sheet, and one point for every goal scored by the assistant manager's team.
The chip does not cost a free transfer the first time it's activated, but swapping managers mid-season does incur the same transfer cost as player changes.
