Sixth-tier Macclesfield FC were drawn to face Brentford, bringing an underdog storyline to the fourth-round ties. Mansfield Town beat Burnley 2-1 at Turf Moor to reach the last 16 for the first time since 1975. Wrexham defeated Ipswich and last reached the fifth round in 1997. Port Vale’s tie with Bristol City was postponed, while Mansfield and Port Vale are the other teams from outside the top two divisions to progress. Norwich and Southampton are the only other Championship clubs definitely through, alongside ten Premier League sides. The last-16 draw is scheduled for 6.30pm (GMT).
