FA and FAI fined by Uefa after fans booed anthems

Uefa has fined the Football Association and the Football Association of Ireland after the national anthems were booed before the Republic of Ireland played England in September.
The Football Association (FA) received a fine of 10,500 (12,500 euros) after England fans booed Amhran na bhFiann at Aviva Stadium, a repeat offence.
The Football Association of Ireland (FAI) incurred an 8,400 (10,000 euros) fine for their supporters booing God Save The King during the match.
Uefa imposed additional fines on FAI for unsafe behavior, including a 7,800 (9,250 euros) penalty for flares and a 5,000 (6,000 euros) fine for a pitch invasion.
