Everton strengthen goalkeeping depth with Travers signing - Soccer News
"I'm extremely proud and excited to be an Everton player. Coming in, you can feel how big this club is and the history that comes with it."
"It's a fresh start for me to come up here and try a new chapter in my career. It's a really exciting time to be part of this massive football club."
Mark Travers has joined Everton on a four-year contract after nine years with Bournemouth. Before this transfer, he made 82 appearances for the Cherries, primarily serving as a first-choice goalkeeper during his loan at Middlesbrough last season. With the contracts of Asmir Begovic and Joao Virginia expired, Everton sought a new goalkeeper. Travers, who has represented the Republic of Ireland four times, aims to compete with Jordan Pickford for a starting role in David Moyes' squad.
