Sweden defeated Poland 3-0, securing a place in the Euro 2025 quarter-finals alongside Germany. Goals from Stina Blackstenius, Kosovare Asllani, and Lina Hurtig contributed to the win as Poland struggled to defend against aerial threats. Sweden currently leads the group in goal difference and will need just a draw against Germany to win the group. Germany, however, faced a tougher challenge, coming from behind to win 2-1 against Denmark after a penalty and a late winner from Lea Schuller.
Goals from Stina Blackstenius, Kosovare Asllani and substitute Lina Hurtig were enough for the Swedes to secure their place. It was a hat-trick of headed goals as Poland could not deal with balls into the area.
Referee Catarina Ferreira Campos awarded a penalty for Katrine Veje's 53rd-minute foul on Linda Dallmann. Sjoeke Nusken stayed cool to equalize from the spot, and Jule Brandt set up Schuller to sweep in the winner.
