The English Football League is investigating crowd incidents during Wrexham's League One fixture with Shrewsbury Town, where objects were thrown at player James McClean.
Wrexham manager Phil Parkinson stated about McClean: 'James is used to it wherever he goes...sometimes it can be tough and spill over but he is used to it.'
Following the 2-1 defeat, McClean made derogatory comments about Shrewsbury on social media; the post was later deleted but may be under investigation.
Wrexham AFC has confirmed the EFL is looking into crowd incidents and stated: 'We will be making no further comment at this stage.'
