Crystal Palace sign 48m Strand Larsen
"We're delighted that Jorgen has chosen to continue his impressive journey with us and look forward to seeing him in action at Selhurst Park. "I'm sure he will prove himself a valuable asset for years to come.""
"I'm really excited to come to Crystal Palace. It's been something I've wanted to do for a long time now. "I'm here to bring energy and goals, and to try to do my best for the club.""
Crystal Palace acquired 25-year-old striker Jørgen Strand Larsen from Wolves for a reported club-record £48m and awarded him a four-and-a-half-year contract. Strand Larsen scored 14 goals for Wolves in the 2024–25 season and had been linked with Newcastle last summer before signing a new deal at Wolves. He was expected to replace Jean-Philippe Mateta but will instead partner him after Mateta's proposed move to AC Milan collapsed. Palace are without a win in 12 matches in all competitions and remain linked with Everton midfielder Dwight McNeil as additional reinforcement.
