Rado Vidosic, born in Osijek in the former Yugoslavia, has died aged 64. He joined Brighton last January as head of coaching for the women’s and girls’ programme and helped the team achieve a record Women’s Super League fifth-place finish in 2024–25. Brighton and Melbourne City praised his influence, calling him integral to club culture and highly respected in Australian football. Vidosic previously held roles at Melbourne City, Brisbane Roar, Sydney FC, Melbourne Victory and Wellington Phoenix, winning an A-League title as Melbourne City manager. Interim coaches have overseen Brighton wins during Dario Vidosic’s leave.
