Holders Bolton Wanderers will be away to Blackpool in the quarter-finals of the Bristol Street Motors Trophy.
Bradford City will host the winners of Tuesday's game between Doncaster and Wigan in the other northern tie.
The quarter-finals will take place in week beginning 29 January.
