"Sure, every one of Bayern Munich's youth teams are on winter break. But just because they are not playing does not mean they are not active. At this point of the year, every team has returned from vacation and are putting in the hard yards on the training ground and even in some tournaments. All general information on the U-23s, U-19s and U-17s ' start to the new year can be found on Bayerns official website."
"The official squad for the camp, revealed here, threw up some surprises. Adin Ličina, heavily linked to an exit in January or the summer, is not in the squad. Roko Mijatović and Vincent Manuba, who were out with long term injuries before the end of the year, are now back and in training."
"The likes of Maximilian Schuhbauer, Deniz Ofli, Raphael Pavlić, Maycon Cardozo and Yll Gashi were all promoted to the U-23s. Finally, Felipe Chávez, Wisdom Mike and Cassiano Kiala are also not in the squad as they train with the first team. They might still join up with the rest of the group when the first team squad's absentees return."
Bayern Munich's youth teams returned from winter break and resumed training and tournaments. The U-17s restart competitive matches on January 17th, the U-19s on February 8th and the U-23s on February 20th. Bayern II began training on January 9th and traveled to San Diego for a training camp running until January 21st, including a friendly against MLS side LAFC. The camp squad featured surprises: Adin Ličina was omitted, injured players Roko Mijatović and Vincent Manuba returned to training, and several players were promoted to the U-23s while others train with the first team. Multiple youth sides competed in the Mercedes-Benz JuniorCup, with the U-19s finishing sixth.
