Barnet have completed the permanent signing of 28-year-old centre-forward Kabongo Tshimanga from Crawley Town for an undisclosed fee. Tshimanga scored five goals in 26 games for Crawley since joining them last summer on a two-year deal. His career has included spells at Peterborough, Chesterfield, Boreham Wood and Swindon across the English Football League and National League. Barnet pursued Tshimanga on several occasions and nearly secured him two or three times before; the club remained patient and judged the timing of the move appropriate for both parties. Barnet expects Tshimanga to add proven scoring experience and physical presence up front.
