"I want to be the greatest footballer in the world," the 24-year-old told BBC Sport. Banda is driven to achieve new heights in her career.
"Here, the league is more competitive. You have to up your game to do well. I feel I've changed my game and improved in so many ways," Banda shared about her transition to the NWSL.
"I've learned a lot of things from her [Marta]. She's a very good person and will encourage me when she feels I can do better," Banda said, highlighting the mentorship she receives.
When she became the first Zambian to be voted BBC Women's Footballer of the Year in November, Banda praised her teammates, saying they had joined club staff in pushing her to succeed.
