Brad Guzan will play the final professional match of his career when Atlanta United face D.C. United on Saturday. The 41-year-old previously had spells with Aston Villa, Hull City and Middlesbrough. Guzan made 324 MLS appearances, kept 92 clean sheets and made 789 saves, placing fifth in clean sheets and ninth in saves in MLS history. He helped Atlanta win the 2018 MLS Cup, 2019 U.S. Open Cup and 2019 Campeones Cup. Guzan wants to be remembered as a competitor who gave everything and was resilient. Head coach Ronny Deila described him as an unbelievable leader to be honoured. D.C. sit bottom of the Eastern Conference two points behind Atlanta; Emmanuel Latte Lath has seven goals in 29 MLS games this season.
