"Abraham, who was on loan at Villa when they won promotion from the Championship in 2018-19, ended a wait of over five years to score in the English top-flight. The ex-Besiktas striker used his thigh to loop the ball beyond Dominic Calvert-Lewin on the line with just two minutes of the 90 remaining, after Ezri Konsa nodded Jadon Sancho's corner down to him."
"Villa had gone behind in the 31st minute, courtesy of a wonderful free-kick from Anton Stach. The hosts were expecting a cross when Stach stood over a dead ball slightly to the left and 30 yards out, but with Emiliano Martinez leaving the near side of his goal unattended, the German caught him out with a curling effort. Karl Darlow made an excellent double save to keep out Amadou Onana"
Tammy Abraham scored his first Premier League goal since returning to Aston Villa, levelling late to secure a 1-1 draw with Leeds United. He used his thigh to loop the ball beyond Dominic Calvert-Lewin after Ezri Konsa nodded Jadon Sancho's corner down, two minutes from full time. Villa fell behind in the 31st minute when Anton Stach curled a free-kick into an unattended near side of Emiliano Martinez's goal from 30 yards. Karl Darlow made an excellent double save to deny Amadou Onana and Ollie Watkins in first-half stoppage time. Watkins was later ruled offside after Emiliano Buendia's shot struck the post. Lukas Nmecha sent a diving header straight at Martinez after coming on, missing a chance to put Leeds ahead.
