Arsenal demolished Leeds United 5-0 at the Emirates Stadium. Viktor Gyokeres scored his first two goals for the club, Jurrien Timber also netted twice, and Bukayo Saka scored. Max Dowman, aged 15, made his Premier League debut and won the stoppage-time penalty that allowed Gyokeres to complete his double. Eberechi Eze was officially unveiled as an Arsenal player before kick-off. Saka and captain Martin Odegaard were both forced off with injury concerns.
