"We didn't score a second goal and when you don't do that you are in danger. They [Palace] are a super difficult side. We have restricted them to very little."
"The technique is unbelievable. We needed something [special] against a team so well organised."
Arsenal defeated Crystal Palace 1-0 at the Emirates thanks to Eberechi Eze's strike six minutes before half-time from Gabriel's knockdown off a set-piece. Mikel Arteta praised Eze's technique and cautioned that the squad must improve and manage injuries to William Saliba and Declan Rice ahead of an EFL Cup tie with Brighton. Oliver Glasner expressed mixed frustration at the result but pride in Palace's overall performance.
