The investigation lasted approximately 22 months and involved the Minnesota BCA, the Minnesota State Fire Marshal Division, the ATF, the Cook County Sheriff, and other agencies. Campbell increased Lutsen's insurance coverage in August 2022 and was taken into custody without incident, pending extradition to Minnesota.
