After a lengthy journey involving three flights and 30 hours of travel, they arrived in Juneau. The group spent a week acquiring necessary gear and planning their glacier camping expedition on the Tsirku Glacier. Despite initial challenges, including communication issues with local ski plane operators, they secured transportation to their camping site, setting the stage for an unforgettable adventure in the Takhinsha Mountains.
