Skiing from the top of Tamarack Express down to the base will not be permitted during early operations. This approach allows Tamarack to offer safe, enjoyable skiing while crews continue to prepare additional terrain and snow continues to fall."
Tamarack Resort will open for the 2025–26 winter season on Monday, December 22 with focused early-season lift and terrain access concentrated on the upper mountain. Opening-day lifts include Discovery Chair, Tamarack Express, and Summit Express, with daily operations planned from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. The Mid-Mountain Lodge will operate from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., offering food and beverages. Two new ski runs and approximately 50 acres of expanded terrain were added as part of post-fire recovery. Early-season skiing routes guests down via Tamarack Express, with top-to-base descents temporarily restricted while crews continue snowmaking and preparation.
