Mammoth Mountain has begun reducing its lift operations, closing several chairs and lodges while confirming plans to remain open until Memorial Day. The resort has experienced significant snowfall, averaging around 400 inches per season, and currently has a snowpack of 38 inches at Main Lodge. Despite other California resorts closing early, Mammoth continues to offer over 2,000 acres of skiable terrain. Operating hours will adjust in late April or early May to optimize skiing conditions as temperatures rise.
