On March 25, a large avalanche near Riksgränsen, Sweden, buried five individuals and left one seriously injured. The avalanche, triggered by snowmobilers, involved around 30 people and required a large-scale emergency response from both Swedish and Norwegian rescue teams. The incident occurred in Kårsavagge, a steep valley, when riders on the Rubens väg route triggered the slide. The avalanche measured up to 600 meters in length. All five buried individuals were rescued, with three sustaining injuries, including a seriously injured Norwegian man.
